Hartford Athletic 2–0 Sporting JAX

Hartford Athletic made home advantage count in the USL Championship, backing up an unbeaten five-game run with a 2-0 win over Sporting JAX. James Scarlett got things moving early, converting in the 21st minute to put Hartford in control, and the home side never really let go from there. Sporting JAX, stuck in an up-and-down stretch of two wins and three losses in their last five, couldn't find the response their away trip demanded, and Hartford made the points safe when E. Samadia struck again in the 83rd minute. The result nudges Hartford up to fifth in the table on 34 points, a stark contrast to Sporting JAX's 14 points and 13th-place standing. With the USL Championship's scoring charts still topped by M. Berry, this one belonged to the collective rather than a single headline name, Scarlett's early opener and Samadia's late finish doing all the necessary work. Watch Scarlett's early strike and Samadia's 83rd-minute finish to see exactly how Hartford closed it out.
