Real Salt Lake 3–0 New England Revolution

Sergi Solans took over at Rio Tinto, scoring twice as Real Salt Lake ran riot over New England Revolution in a one-sided Major League Soccer beatdown. Aiden Hezarkhani set the tone inside the first two minutes, and once Solans doubled up with strikes in the 62nd and 80th, the rout was complete. The result reads as a shock on paper: New England arrived at 2nd in the table on 46 points with four wins in their last five, while Salt Lake sit 13th on 29 with a single point from their previous five outings and zero wins in that stretch. None of that mattered for ninety minutes. Whatever's gone wrong for Real Salt Lake lately, it vanished the moment Hezarkhani opened the scoring, and Solans made sure the Revolution never found an answer. For a team starving for form, this is the kind of night that flips a mood. Watch how Solans' second goal in the 80th minute puts the finishing touch on Salt Lake's biggest statement result in weeks.
