Match Recap
Milosz Matysik waited until the 95th minute to settle it, but Aris needed every one of those seconds to complete a comeback in this 1. Division clash. Anorthosis struck first through Gedeon Kalulu in the 29th minute, catching the hosts cold. Junior Rody Effaghe leveled things just after the hour, and the game stayed locked until Matysik's stoppage-time winner sent Aris up to 12 points and sixth place, six clear of tenth-placed Anorthosis. It was also a reversal of sorts: Aris had lost the only previous meeting between these two sides. None of the match's three scorers rank among the league's top ten, still topped by R. Mmaee on 21 goals, but Matysik's name is one Aris fans won't forget in a hurry. Watch the 90+5 strike that turned a shared point into a full three.
