Partick 3–0 Arbroath

Partick had no answer for Brian Stanway, who ripped the Championship clash open inside twenty minutes, scoring twice before the half-hour mark to put Arbroath away early. It finished one-sided: 3-0, with Lee Ashcroft adding a third in the 70th minute to turn a strong start into a demolition. Stanway's brace puts him firmly among the league's scoring elite, sitting ninth with four goals, though he's still chasing leader R. Muirhead's tally of eight. The result also settles an old score, Partick had drawn both of their last two meetings with Arbroath without managing a win, and this time there was no doubt. It lifts Partick to fourth in the table on 12 points, edging above an Arbroath side that drops to sixth despite arriving in decent form. For Arbroath, a result to forget; for Partick, a statement. Watch how Stanway's second goal unraveled Arbroath's backline in the highlights below, it's the moment this one turned from a contest into a rout.
