Inter Lagos 1–1 Katsina United

Inter Lagos and Katsina United shared the points in a tight NPFL draw that did little to ease the pressure on the home side. Sitting 20th with just four points from five games, Inter Lagos needed a result, and a 1-1 finish against mid-table Katsina United keeps them scrapping rather than sinking further. For the visitors, it's a fair outcome: Katsina United arrived in 11th with eight points and a mixed DWLWL run, and leaving Inter Lagos with a share of the spoils fits that inconsistent form rather than breaking it. Neither side found the kind of cutting edge that league top scorer V. Mbaoma has shown with 13 goals this season, and this match passed without any of his rivals for the scoring charts getting on the sheet either. It was a game defined more by resilience than fireworks, two teams cancelling each other out rather than one seizing control. Still, every goal in a scoreline this close carries weight, and there's enough tension in how Inter Lagos and Katsina United fought to the final whistle to make the highlights worth a watch.
