Marseille 2–0 Toulouse

Marseille needed just a minute to set the tone at the Vélodrome, with Amine Harit opening the scoring before most fans had settled into their seats. Amine Gouiri doubled it on 25 minutes, and from there Toulouse never found a way back in, falling 2-0 in this Ligue 1 clash. The win lifts Marseille to ninth on 12 points, snapping a two-game losing skid with their third victory in five, while Toulouse slip to 11th despite arriving unbeaten in their last four. History was already on the home side's side here: Marseille hadn't lost any of the last three meetings between these two, winning once and drawing twice, and this one continued that trend in emphatic fashion. With Ligue 1's scoring charts topped by Lepaul on 27 goals, neither Harit nor Gouiri is chasing that race yet, but their quickfire double gave Marseille all the control they needed.
