Match Recap
Alexandre Mendy did it alone. The Al-Faisaly FC forward scored all three of his side's goals, including the 85th-minute winner, to complete a hat-trick and drag his team back from behind in a wild 3-2 win over Al Kholood in the Pro League. Mendy opened the scoring in the 7th minute, but Al Kholood hit back fast, with Shaquille Pinas leveling in the 19th and Julien Domingues putting the visitors ahead right before the break. Mendy had other ideas, equalizing in stoppage time before the half, then waiting until the 85th minute to strike again and seal it. Al Kholood sit 8th with 12 points off a mixed run of form, while Al-Faisaly FC, down in 14th on 6 points, needed exactly this kind of individual brilliance to get something out of the match. Five goals, two momentum swings, and one forward who refused to let his team lose. Watch how Mendy's 85th-minute strike actually went in below.
