Match Recap
Al Riyadh had lost more than they'd won this season, sitting 13th with a shaky DLWDL run, but they found exactly the result they needed against a red-hot Al Kholood side unbeaten in five and camped in seventh in the Pro League. Kader Keita broke the deadlock in the 65th minute, turning a tense afternoon in Al Riyadh's favor, before Rodrigo Abascal put it beyond doubt in the 89th to seal a 2-0 win. It's a result that fits a pattern: Al Riyadh have now beaten Al Kholood in both of their last two meetings, a perfect head-to-head record that shows no sign of breaking. Neither Keita nor Abascal sits anywhere near I. Toney's league-leading 45 goals, but on this night they didn't need to. Watch how Keita ghosts in behind the Al Kholood back line for the opener, then see Abascal's late strike that finally shut the door.
