Match Recap
Gastón Verón pulled Argentinos JRS level with sixteen minutes to spare, canceling out Agustín Auzmendi's first-half strike as a Liga Profesional Argentina meeting between Argentinos JRS and Gimnasia L.P. ended 1-1. Auzmendi had put the visitors ahead on 26 minutes, and that lead looked firm deep into the second half. Verón changed the picture on 74, rescuing a point that keeps third-placed Argentinos JRS on 29 in the table, while sixth-placed Gimnasia L.P. stay on 26. The result is also Argentinos' best outcome against this particular opponent in recent head-to-heads: their only previous meeting ended in defeat. Both sides will feel a win was there for the taking, but Verón's 74th-minute finish, the moment that broke Gimnasia's grip on the match, is the one frame you need to see. Hit play and watch how he took it.
