Match Recap
Down two goals inside 40 minutes, Los Angeles Galaxy summoned three unanswered second-half goals to turn this Major League Soccer meeting completely around, beating Colorado Rapids 3-2 in a five-goal battle. Donovan Phillip's fourth-minute strike and Paxten Aaronson's finish just before the break had the Rapids cruising, and recent history backed them: Galaxy had lost two of their last three meetings with Colorado. Then everything flipped. Reggie Cannon pulled one back in the 53rd minute, Klauss leveled it at 66, and Justin Haak drove home the winner in the 74th to complete the comeback. In the standings, Colorado sit seventh with 36 points and Galaxy ninth with 33, both mid-table sides scrapping for form, which only makes the second-half collapse and response more dramatic. None of MLS's top scorers, not even league leader Messi with his 51 goals, had a hand in this one; the credit belongs entirely to Cannon, Klauss and Haak. Watch how Galaxy erased a two-goal deficit in barely twenty minutes, capped by Haak's 74th-minute winner.
