Match Recap
Wisla Krakow turned a Krakow derby into a statement afternoon, controlling Wieczysta Kraków from the first whistle and making it look routine by the end. J. Sanchez broke the deadlock nine minutes into the second half, finishing to put the hosts ahead, and J. Guillemenot made sure of the points with a cool finish on 80 minutes. The 2-0 scoreline flatters Wieczysta somewhat, a side sitting 17th in the Ekstraklasa table with just three points from five games and a run of four losses in their last five. Wisla, meanwhile, sit second in the league with ten points and back in winning ways after a mixed WDLWL stretch. The city bragging rights are firmly on one side of Krakow tonight. Watch Guillemenot's composed late finish seal it.
