Match Recap
Celta de Vigo II and Tenerife shared the points in a tight Segunda División draw that swung on two sharp finishes. Alvaro Marin Sesma put the home side ahead on 28 minutes, only for Nacho Gil to level things up for Tenerife early in the second half, in the 50th minute. Neither side had much to boast about in the table beforehand, Celta's youngsters sitting 15th with just one win in five, Tenerife one place better off at 13th with an identical record, and this 1-1 does little to change that picture for either club. With the league's top scorer Miguel de la Fuente watching from elsewhere on the table, it was two less heralded names who decided this one. A result that keeps both sides treading water, but the goals themselves are worth your time: catch Marin Sesma's opener and Gil's reply in the highlights below.
