Plaza Amador 1–1 Veraguas

Plaza Amador's unbeaten run at the top of the Liga Panameña de Fútbol hit a snag as Veraguas escaped with a point in a 1-1 draw. J. Sanchez broke the deadlock right on the stroke of halftime, the goal his eighth of the season and enough to keep him inside the league's top ten scorers, just behind leader R. Dinolis's 14. Veraguas responded well after the break, and N. Zuniga leveled things in the 64th minute to silence the home crowd and salvage a share of the spoils. Plaza Amador stay top on 31 points with three wins from five games this term, while Veraguas sit fourth on 25 with three wins of their own despite the setback. It's familiar territory for these two: their only previous meeting also ended level, so the head-to-head record remains locked at a stalemate.
