Ten goals, five each, and C. Lange needed until the 85th minute to make sure Aalesund did not leave with all three points. This Eliteserien clash was settled — or rather, unsettled — almost from kick-off: M. Christensen put the home side ahead in the third minute, Valerenga levelled through M. Grundetjern at 14, and the teams traded blows so freely that six goals had landed before the half-hour was out. Aalesund led 4-2 at the break, then 5-3 by the 56th when Christensen netted his second, keeping him firmly in the league's top five scorers with eight for the season. Grundetjern matched him with a brace of his own, and when Lange curled in a fifth for Valerenga with five minutes left, the point felt more like a heist.
