Tukums 0–2 Riga

Riga didn't need long to settle this one. Reginaldo Ramires struck inside nine minutes away at Tukums, and M. Badamosi doubled the lead just after the hour to seal a 2-0 Virsliga win. Both goalscorers sit inside the league's top ten scorers, with Badamosi topping the chart outright on 21 for the season, and his finish here read like a man comfortable at the summit. The result tracks the form table too: Riga arrived second with 73 points from five games and a WWDDL run, while Tukums are ninth with just one win in five and losses in two of their last three. History offered no warning signs for the hosts either, Tukums are winless in their last three meetings with Riga, with two defeats and a draw to show for it. Two clinical strikes from two of the division's most dangerous forwards did the rest. Watch Badamosi's goal and see exactly why nobody in the Virsliga is catching him right now.
