Match Recap
Lucas Boyé put Deportivo Alaves on his back and delivered one of La Liga's standout individual performances of the season, completing a hat-trick against Osasuna to headline a 5-2 demolition at Mendizorroza. The Argentine striker opened the scoring in the 27th minute, Mariano Díaz doubled the lead before half-time, and even when Ante Budimir pulled two back for Osasuna either side of the hour mark to briefly make it interesting, Boyé had the answer each time, netting in the 51st and 68th to kill the contest dead. Pablo Ibáñez Lumbreras added a fifth in stoppage time to complete the rout. Alaves now sit second in La Liga with 10 points from four games, winning three of them, a remarkable start for a side that had never beaten Osasuna in their last three meetings. Boyé's third goal, the one that finally ended any Osasuna hope, is the moment you need to see.
