Rhode Island 1–1 Pittsburgh Riverhounds

Rhode Island thought they had it won until Eddie Goldthorp popped up in the fifth minute of stoppage time to snatch a point for Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Oswaldo Foyo had broken the deadlock in the 74th minute, and Rhode Island spent sixteen minutes defending that lead before Goldthorp ripped it away right at the death. The 1-1 draw leaves both sides level on 41 points in the USL Championship table, with Rhode Island holding fourth on recent form (WLWWL) just ahead of Pittsburgh in fifth (WLLWD), two teams going in almost identical directions right now. Neither Foyo nor Goldthorp currently ranks among the league's top ten scorers, a list still topped by P. Goodrum's eight goals, so both will be looking for more moments like this. For Pittsburgh, pulling level in the dying seconds says plenty about their refusal to fold. Watch Goldthorp's stoppage-time leveler and see exactly how he stole a point from Rhode Island with virtually the last kick of the game.
