Veraguas 2–1 Alianza FC

Veraguas ended a run of three Liga Panameña de Fútbol meetings against Alianza FC without a win, and they did it the hard way. C. Hernandez, fourth among the league's top scorers with nine goals, gave Veraguas the lead in the 14th minute, only for G. Chiari to draw Alianza level seven minutes later. The second-place visitors, unbeaten in their previous four outings, looked set to extend that streak until R. de Leon struck in the 79th minute to settle it. That late goal lifts Veraguas to 25 points and hands a rare defeat to an Alianza FC side that had not lost in their last five. The home side previously gone winless, drew twice and lost once against this opponent, making de Leon's finish all the sweeter. Pull up the replay and watch exactly how he broke the deadlock with eleven minutes left.
