Match Recap
San Lorenzo stole this one from the jaws of defeat. Edwuin Cetre put Estudiantes L.P. ahead after just 14 minutes, and for long stretches it looked like business as usual for the Liga Profesional Argentina leaders. But Guzman Corujo leveled things before the break, and San Lorenzo, sitting seventh with 22 points, kept pushing. Then came the sting: Facundo Gulli buried the winner in the fifth minute of stoppage time, turning a losing scoreline into a 2-1 comeback and snapping a run that had Estudiantes unbeaten in their last meeting with this opponent. It is the kind of late gut-punch that explains Estudiantes' mixed recent form despite topping the table, while San Lorenzo will take the three points any way they can get them. Neither Cetre nor Corujo nor Gulli sits among the league's top scorers this season, with Tarragona still well clear on 19, but none of that will matter to San Lorenzo's away end, who went from staring at a loss to wild celebrations in the space of five added minutes. Watch Gulli's 90+5 winner land and see the away bench erupt.
