Sacramento Republic 3–2 Las Vegas Lights

Sacramento Republic needed a response, and they found it. Las Vegas Lights struck first through O. Anderson in the 13th minute, but Sacramento leveled through M. Rodriguez just before the half, then watched Las Vegas's C. Locker restore the visitors' lead early in the second period. That's when the hosts took over: T. Wolff equalized at 58', and K. Edwards sealed a 3-2 comeback win with the decider in the 82nd minute, capping a five-goal USL Championship thriller. Rodriguez's goal carries extra weight, too. It's his third of the campaign and puts him 10th on the league's scoring chart, behind leader P. Goodrum's seven. The result also widens the gap in the standings. Sacramento sit fourth with 40 points and a WDWDD run, while Las Vegas slip to 10th on 33 points after a DWLLL stretch that shows no signs of turning. Four different scorers, two lead changes, and a match that swung twice before Edwards settled it with 8 minutes left. Watch how Sacramento's late surge unfolded, goal by goal, in the highlights below.
