Match Recap
Two goals in the opening twenty minutes did the damage. Justin Kluivert put Bournemouth ahead in the 11th minute, and Rayan Rocha doubled it just nine minutes later, leaving Real Sociedad chasing the game before the half was even over. Sergio Gómez pulled one back for the hosts in the 57th minute, but the early two-goal cushion held up, and Bournemouth left with all three points in this UEFA Europa League clash. This is early in the league phase, with Bournemouth sitting 15th and Real Sociedad 24th, so there's plenty of ground still to make up, but the win gives the English club real momentum on the road. Neither Kluivert, Rocha nor Gómez sits among the league's top scorers, a list still headed by P. Stanic on seven, though their names now belong to this result. Two blistering strikes inside twenty minutes, then a nervy finish sparked by Gómez, make the highlights worth a watch from the very first whistle.
