Match Recap
Arnel Jakupović scored twice and Guimaraes simply ran away with it, putting five goals past Maritimo without reply in a one-sided Primeira Liga demolition. Jakupović broke the deadlock in the 38th minute and added a second early in the second half's momentum shift at the 76th, sandwiched around strikes from Paulo Henrique and Oumar Camara that turned a contest into a rout. Yeimar Mosquera capped the scoring in the 90th minute, the fifth goal in a match that never let up. Neither side arrives with form to spare, Guimaraes sit 15th and Maritimo 11th, both still searching for their first win of the campaign, but on this evening the gulf in quality was obvious from the opening goal onward. Five goals, one team doing all the damage. Watch how Jakupović's second finds the net in the 76th minute and see exactly how Maritimo's resistance finally broke.
