Match Recap
D. Pinzon did the damage twice as Tauro FC silenced Union Cocle on their own ground, claiming a 0-2 victory in Liga Panameña de Fútbol action that their recent form had given little indication was coming. The Tauro striker opened things up in the 21st minute, then returned to settle the contest with a 77th-minute finish that left the hosts with nothing to show for 90 minutes on home soil. It was a timely statement from Tauro, who arrived with just one win from their previous five outings, a run that made this composed away performance all the more striking. Union Cocle sat fifth with 23 points and had won the only previous meeting between these two sides, but Pinzon erased that recent edge all by himself. Neither of his goals came from a player ranked in the Liga Panameña de Fútbol's top ten scorers this season, which is exactly why the footage of how he got both of them deserves a closer look.
