Match Recap
Rafael wasted no time, firing Mirassol ahead inside seven minutes at home. Sao Paulo answered before the break, Pedro Lima leveling things at 39 to send both sides in level in this Serie A clash. Neither could find a winner after that, and 1-1 is a fair reflection of two teams going in different directions in the table. Mirassol, 14th on 36 points, are still searching for consistency after a WLDWD stretch, while Sao Paulo arrive ninth on 42 despite their own bumpy WWLLW run. History leaned toward the hosts, Mirassol had won two of the last three meetings with Sao Paulo, but this time the visitors made sure it ended level. Two early goals, two very different stories behind them. Watch Rafael's seventh-minute finish and Pedro Lima's leveler just before halftime to see exactly how Mirassol and Sao Paulo canceled each other out.
