Match Recap
Peter Christiansen needed just sixty seconds to turn the game on its head, scoring twice in a minute to complete his brace and seal a 3-2 win for Viking over Fredrikstad in Eliteserien. It wasn't straightforward getting there: Fredrikstad led through Bryan Fiabema and Gabriel Wesseh either side of half-time, overturning Simen Kvia Egeskog's early opener and putting the hosts on the back foot. Viking stayed patient, and Christiansen's double in the 56th and 57th minutes flipped a goal-fest of five strikes into a statement result. The win keeps second-placed Viking riding a run of four victories in their last five, a stretch that now includes a third straight success over Fredrikstad, who remain stuck in eighth despite the fight they showed. With Christiansen sitting atop the Eliteserien scoring charts on 14 for the season, this was no coincidence, it was the league's in-form finisher doing exactly what he does best, at the moment his team needed it most. Watch both of his goals land inside sixty frantic seconds and decide for yourself which one was the better finish.
