Match Recap
Alanyaspor didn't just beat Fenerbahce, they tore through them. Romelu Lukaku broke the deadlock in the 40th minute, and the visitors never let up, adding three more through Irfan Can Kahveci, Kerem Akturkoglu, and Vedat Muriqi to turn a Super Lig fixture into a one-sided demolition, 3-0 on the night despite the home side's name on the ticket. Fenerbahce arrived unbeaten in their last meeting with Alanyaspor, a record now in ruins, and the result flips the table picture too: Alanyaspor sit seventh on 12 points after five games, but on this evidence they outclassed a Fenerbahce side ranked fourth. Four different scorers, four different ways to hurt the hosts, from Lukaku's clinical finish to Muriqi's late sealer in the 87th minute. For a Fenerbahce crowd expecting goals of their own, watching Alanyaspor's forwards carve them open four times will make for uncomfortable viewing, but it's exactly why you watch. Catch every one of those four goals, including Muriqi's cherry on top, in the highlights below.
